The website I'm trying to back up just requires a "I understand" click and I dont seem to be able to bypass that as it isnt a form.

Also when I try to scan the website the dianlog box, no matter how I resize it looks like this :

Thanks in advance for any pointers in the right direction.

WebCopy / How to define negative crawl d...
Last post by chrzesm - November 13, 2022, 02:26:50 AM
Hello, I am new to the forum and just started with WebCopy tool. My issue relates to "above root" messages. I wanted to crawl a web page which needs ".../index" in the address line. The page has many links to other pages which are in the same directory ".../page1.html", ".../page2.html", etc., so during crawling they are "above root" :-(. My question is if there is any way to define the root level separatelly to the website address or to define negative crawl depth limit, eg "-1"? I do not want to use "crawl above root" option. Thank you for any suggestions.
WebCopy / Downloading a MediaWiki with ....
Last post by Ian-SAfc - November 01, 2022, 05:22:25 PM
I'm downloading a MdiaWiki php site.
All the pages are like www.mysite/index.php/Main_page
and www.mysite/index.php/Main_page/Strategy

The thing is, the WebCopy is downloading these pages as .html which is what I'm after, but the links within the page that take me to different areas of the website are still www.mysite/index.php/Main_page/Strategy,  when they should be file:///c:/mysite/index.php/Strategy.htm
(note the lack of .htm or .html after Strategy)

How do I get the WebCopy to convert the links within the pages to point appropriately (and add the .htm to the links in the downloaded pages) ?

(In project properties I do have Local Files > reMap > Always
and File Options > / ReMap references within dnloaded files)

ImageBox / Add rotation in selection rect...

Hi, Admin,

Thank you very much for creating this amazing control.

Currently, I am using the ImageBoxEx control which I got from the demo because this has the resizable selection rectangle. Is it possible to add a rotation also in the box? Like the image below:

The green dot if dragged will rotate the selection box.

This will be very helpful.

WebCopy / Only http and https URI scheme...
Last post by mikesmurph - September 01, 2022, 06:43:12 PM

since version it is no longer possible to call "C:\ProgramFiles\Cyotek\WebCopy\wcopy.exe c:\cwpproject\Project.cwp" for an automated webcrawling.
WCopy.exe always returns the message "Only http and https URI schemes are supported"

Is this a problem of the new Version or what does the URI have to look like so that the call works again?

Thanks for helping!
