I changed the default documents to index.html.
Because previously Ithe output was always .htm

Recently downloaded a website , is it possible that
When I  did  this change  , did it mean that it doesnt download other filenames like "start".html  anymore ?

I  only wanted to change that it always gives me html files ... But I  dont want to specifically download only "index".html ...
How do I get html files that are not named "index"   ....

Hello,

I think this is a bug where `.html` files get renamed to `.htm`, I was looking into this for another user but hadn't reproduced it. I still need to go back and look into this further.

Default documents is an old setting which I barely remember how it was supposed to work and if it is even relevant any-more. It can be used to set the filename of pages that doesn't have a filename of their own, but it won't prevent pages from being downloaded or cause them to get renamed.

Regards;
