Hello.
Thanks for your software Cyotek WebCopy! It is the best of all similar!
If you make one thing it would be fantastic.

Some websites show their pages in different languages depending on the settings of web browser.
Such sites always downloaded by Cyotek WebCopy with english language.

Changing of user agent not solve the problem.

Below's what I mean
It is Firefox settings
With this setting, multilingual websites will open in French. It would be great if Cyotek WebCopy will have a similar configuration to download the websites or webpages in a desired language.

Thanks anyway!

Hello,

Thanks for the message. This ought to be possible already, as there's a setting for this buried away. Admittedly it's neither documented nor easy to find (sigh).

  • Open the Project Properties dialog
  • Click the Advanced item in the options tree
  • In the Accept Languages field, enter the languages (comma separated) you are interested in, for example FR.

This directly maps to the Accept-Language HTTP header.

Hopefully this will work for you, please let me know either way.

Thanks Richard!

I could not find it for a long time even when you answered here.

It turned that the Project Properties dialog opens defaul in an incomplete size and it doesn't have a vertical scrolling.
I saw the manual before writing here and saw an Accept Languages setting there, but I could not find it )

I have 1920x1080 monitor, maybe it's because of this

Thanks fot the Help!

Interesting. What is your desktop display scaling set to?

The dialog is actually resizable so you should just be able to make it bigger and see the missing option.

1920x1080 display
I realized, just stretch the window of the project properties dialog.

Thanks

Richard Moss

My own resolution is 1920x1080 but the dialogs aren't that big ;)

What I meant was display scaling where Windows resizes elements

  • Right click the desktop and choose Screen Resolution
  • Click make text and other items larger or smaller
  • View the scaling percentagle (100, 125, 150 or custom)

Would be interesting to know so I can run some tests on why the dialog doesn't show all elements. I can add a scrollbar of course, but if I can display everything that would be better.
