Hello,
Thanks for your message, sorry you're having trouble with WebCopy. We have heard from several sources that the program is hard to use, and this is a perfect example of a feature that is supported, but isn't intuitive to find.
I've published a draft of an article I wrote a while ago which describes how to set up a project for copying new and update files - you can find that here: http://www.cyotek.com/support/kb/cyotek-webcopy/how-can-i-copy-only-changed-files-from-a-website
Please let me know if that helps - it's a little bare right now but contains the basic points.
In regards to your "forbidden category" I don't understand what you mean. Are you able to clarify this?
Continue and resume currently isn't supported. It is something that should be fairly easy to add, but it's in a long list of possible improvements to be made to WebCopy that are in the backlog.
Finally, in regards to localization. We have recently been experimenting with localization (the last update to Gif Animator now supports various (machine translated) languages with more to be added later). However, this is using code and libraries that WebCopy can't use. Unfortunately it's very much in the "version 2.0" pile. Work on version 2 should be starting sometime in the new year.

Hello,
Thanks for the comments. As I mentioned, WebCopy can already do "refreshes" of previously downloaded web sites, however I'll aim to make this functionality easier to use in future builds. Pause and resume functionality will also be added at some point, although I can't say when.
Once again, thanks for the feedback.
